First Year Seminars

First Year Seminars (FYS) are small, hands-on classes designed for freshmen. In these classes, you will have the chance to work closely with supportive FYS professors and further develop your own academic and career interests. As a First Year Seminar student, you will also be supported by a Student Success Team, which includes a peer success coach, your FYS professor, an academic advisor, and a career specialist. Your success team will be there to answer your questions, support you during your first semester and make sure you know about upcoming campus opportunities and events!
